Happy Thanksgiving to our Boating Friends!!

The Mayflower II, a replica of the original, that arrived in the USA in 1957. There were no marine services reviews then, so they had to discover everything the hard way. Photo from Plimoth Plantation in Plymouth, MA.

As we sit here, happily ensconced at sleepy BoaterRated Central, we take the time to reflect and give thanks to all that is wonderful in life, no matter how crummy it seems to be at the time.  We spent all last weekend on the water, we’re planning on spending a good part of THIS weekend on the water, and we’re grateful to be able to do so.  There are lots of folks who’ve helped us stay there, and we’ve told the world by writing reviews on BoaterRated.com.  If you’ve got a story to tell, either overt gratitude or to help somebody become a better service provider, perhaps you can log on to the Virtual Dockside and share your story with your fellow boaters.

Shameless plug aside, we do wish you and all of yours a very safe and Happy Thanksgiving Day, we hope your football team wins, and you work off that last helping of turkey long before the December holidays have their effect!

All the best,
Amy & Carl
